Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?

We were without internet access for a few days last week. It was painful. I didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't check the weather. I couldn't shop. I couldn't cook anything more than a hot dog. I couldn't blog. I'm not going to lie. It was torture.

I managed to get around the lack of shopportunities by taking the. whole. family. to a nearby lighting store. Yes, I was that desperate. Shades of Light isn't that large so I figured I could keep my eye on all of them and still get my fix. I was hoping BSD and I would find the perfect light fixture for the stairway.  We did. The problem?

This was my perfect fixture...

This was BSD's...

Yes, we're after "beachy", sweetie. Just not that literal. kay?

Needless to say, we left the store empty-handed. Although, I bet if I had checked the Little Ballerina's pockets she may not have. Thankfully, our internet is back up and running now. I know it's going to be hot and humid. I know what my bloggy peeps are up to. I think I even found a light fixture BSD and I agree on.

Seems we've gone from jellyfish to sea urchin. Oh, well. You know what they say. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Hopefully, I won't be hearing the SpongeBob theme song every time I walk up the stairs. I'll find another spot for that fab circles chandelier. And now I must go and Google something for dinner.

See, this is why I know you are way more sophisticated than I. You see luminary art.

I see a Bloomin' Onion.

(Kidding. It's awesome. I want to see the finished room so get to work.)
