It's the first Ten on Ten of Twenty Twelve. I did it! And I have it posted before midnight. *woot* Feels good. It was an ordinary Tuesday. No extra activities on Tuesdays so that made it easier to get the pictures taken early and up on the ole blog. I did wind up on TV today, though. So maybe it wasn't that ordinary after all.
OK...so who else joined me? Can't wait to take a peek into your day today. If you want to see what others are up to, check them out here.
my 15 minutes of fame.
No. The chickens don't live in the house. They aren't allowed in the house. But the ballerinas like to carry them in every now and then to say, "Hi."

I'm glad you put a disclaimer under that chicken photo cause, I kinda wondered what the heck chickens were doing in your house!
Love the 15 minutes of fame one, you are so creative!
You're on t.v.!! Ha!
Love the sun in the last one. I'm guessing ballerina is eating an orange...
Happy 10th of 2012
Whew! Chickens in the house might be a bit much! hahaha!! Great photos!
have a pretty day!
Kristin
ohhhhh, i love the old tv one. best picture ever. i didn't even do my 10 today, totally forgot it was the 10th. i love the chickens! and your girls holding them, too cute.
You are funny...
I only got 4 out of 10, but you nailed it my friend! And your grapefruit pic trumps mine. Beautiful.
Love your 15 minutes of fame! I've never attempted the 10 on 10 yet. Might have to try it one of these days.
You are funny! Is that t.v. in someone else's yard?! The claw wrapped around ballerina's finger kind of creeps me out! Such a cute picture though! And is LB watching t.v. in the last picture...she has the same look my son does when watching t.v.!
Awesome pics Kim!
Best photos ever. I love them all. The TV ( oh so funny you). The composition of The basket of grapefruits. The egg. And those darling chickens grabbing the big ballerinas finger the way a baby grabs your pinkie. I completely forgot today was the tenth.
Great shots! I love the tv one. You're so creative with photos. Your girls holding the chickens is so cute :) xxx
Love these shots, Kim. I love the chickens and of course the grocery cart. Real life.
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I too, have been waiting for my husband to panel our living room focal wall for about two years. I think it might take construction to make that happen at this point, lol.
Have a great day.
Erin
total fail on my end.
love the last picture! :)
Thanks for all the sweet comments everyone! I really enjoyed focusing on the project this month.
A few answers...
LB is trying her first ever grapefruit. She's not watching TV (although that IS what they look like when they're focused on the TV. hehe..). She's really concentrating on tasting it.
I can see how the chicken claw is creepy. I had one other shot of them holding them, but BSD liked this shot b/c of the claw. I know we seem like total chicken freaks now, but they are really docile and they coo when you hold them. It's really sweet.
And yes...the TV was kicked to the curb. I drove by it and laughed. Then I did a U-Turn and decided to take a picture. I'm actually sitting in the middle of the street to take that picture. I know. I'm crazy!
Join in next month! :)
these are so great. i love your fruit basket!!
The last picture is gorgeous. And the old tv is such a fun shot.
Love your set, chica. I always do.
Alita
Love your set. Beautiful color, pattern, and light!
Beautiful set! Love the 15 minutes of fame :)
tv shot = SUPER clever ... you're my hero for creating that one :) loving the light on that last photo - wowza, incredible!
guess who participated in her first ever 10 on 10?! yep, no joke ... took me all day on the 11th to post it, but yeah ... it's moi ...
nice lighting and angles. the tv shot is great!
love the oranges! great set!
Your reflection in the tv set is awesome. Now I have a famous friend! :))
xo.
Great Pics, Kim!! Can't pick a fave although the tv one is very creative!! on videoing from your cam, you need a really high quality card. it will show in a very tiny number on the card with a circle around it. My card is a 10 and takes great video. You should be able to pull the file into iMovie on your mac. please tell me you have made a movie on your mac! so much fun!! after making the imovie, you burn it to a dvd thru iDvd. i haven't done it in awhile. also, you should be able to pull your old mini cassettes onto your computer too, esp if you have the original video camera!
i scrolled back thru again and the grapefruit one is my favorite..right out of a magazine!!
Love your photo's, the lighting on the last one is my favorite.
Love, love, love the tv shot! You really rocked that shot! And the light in the last one is superb! I thought about trying this challenge, but I forgot about it on the 10th, and have to say, I'm enjoying my break from my camera, but I do miss hearing from you...guess I'm going to have to post something soon!
Your pictures turned out really lovely! Love the oranges!
