Half...

I'm just over halfway through with my Project 365. It's part of the reason I've been so scarce around here lately. The rest of me is over there.

Lots of great photo inspiration and motivation over there that keeps me snapping.

And learning.

And experimenting.

I'm having so much fun with this project. And just when I needed it, I got a shot of adrenaline from a movie. If you have any interest in photography. Especially creating photos with a vintage vibe. You need to race out and see Moonrise Kingdom. The story is quirky and fun. And each and every scene is a perfectly composed circa 1965 photograph. Total photography porn. Check it out for yourself...

And if you see it, I'd love to know what you think.

Kim, I just took a look through some of your photos on 365 and they are all soo great. I particularly like the one of little ballerina on 18 th June. Your use of light makes it such a beautiful photograph (with the help of your beautiful daughter too). I also watched the trailer for Moonrise Kingdom and it is definitely my kind of film so I shall make an effort to see it. I have to go now because I'm late for preschool!!! Thanks for being a fantastic distraction!

These shots are beautiful, beautiful. I especially love the first one of you and think you should have that as your blog header. Just sayin.

I looked at your project 365 again, and I just love your pictures. That first shot of you here is beautiful. The very best thing about your pictures is that they are real life, not posed or fake. I think too many people get hooked on a certain look, and then everyone tends to have the same photos. Yours are so unique, and amazing! Great job.

Awesome shots, feel like I've missed your posts on my reader :(
Could you share some setting tips as I am still learning and fiddling with Canon 60d.
