day 150: brace face

I am still plugging along on my Project 365. Today was day ONE HUNDRED FIFTY! My little ticker on the site that keeps me motivated tells me I am currently 40% complete. I can hardly believe it. I am so, so happy I've made it this far. I love looking back on each month to see what was going on. I get such a kick out of viewing the little thumbnails and remembering certain events. If you've ever considered doing a Project 365, I highly recommend the site I'm using. Super easy to use. And lots of nice people.

Today's photo will definitely be fun to look back on. Especially in, oh...about 20-24 months. When these little brackets and wires have completed their duty. And are finally removed. It will be so much fun to see the before and after.

And speaking of before and after's, I'm currently working on a project that is actually turning out really well. If I do say so myself. And I'm doing it without the help of my partner in crime. As he is still in other parts of the world. Fighting pirates. Or some other such nonsense. Leaving me to "carry on" with our projects as a solo act. When I am clearly much better as a duet. But give me a few more days. And I'll be back to reveal my latest creation.

Love that pic! And in 20 months she will look so much more grown up, braces happen during the blossoming years so it is a major transformation all around!
She is so cute...and showing so much personality here!

What a great picture of BB! She looks pretty excited about those braces! Those two years (unfortunately) will fly by and you'll be showing us the after pics before we know it!
Can't wait to see what you're working on....all by your little self! :)

Too funny.... to be fair. Youngest is only finished the first phase of her braces. She will wait a year or two with a retainer until all of her adult teeth are in. We decided it was worth it, her two front teeth were so crooked : ) This one is a firecracker isn't she? You can see the beautiful after picture already, because this one is gorgeous to begin with!

Oh, I bet BB is hurting by now. My daughter had them two years ago {which she had them taken off so we could move to our island} and by the next day, she was hurtin' for certain! Yes, my girl has a retainer now. I have meaning to post about her teeth, she has quite a story. Can't wait to see what you are up to!

Aww Kim, she is beautiful! It's hard to believe that almost a year ago we were spending the day with you & the girls.
Soon Noah will be getting braces too. He's ready for them but nervous as well.

BEAUTIFUL photo!!! And the timing is so funny - in only about an HOUR from now, I'm picking up my own big ladybug to take to have her braces put on as well ... soul sisters these two ;-) hope my girl is as happy and bright-eyed as yours when it's all over!!

and PS - I'm hooked on your mad martha skillz - what's the next project?!?!?

I am so proud of you and your progress with your 365. I need to go check out your pics. I'm finally feeling like things are settling down and I can get back to my bloggie friends. On our summer list - get little K to the ortho. Her last dentist said to wait until her 6 year molars came in - that was 4 years ago (and 2 moves) so I guess it's time to go.
