Joy of Luck: Gift

I'm back! I am so excited that Willette is offering another free class this month. The Joy of Luck. This one is a quickie. About a week or so. Anyone care to join me?

Today's assignment was "Gift." Something in your life that you are so lucky to have. That you take for granted. At first I was going to photograph gummy vitamins. Because I am so grateful that those are the strongest drugs anyone in our house needs. That we are all healthy. Such a gift. BUT...I was too superstitious to do that. I am afraid putting that out there into the universe would suddenly strike us down with illness. Cancer is still on my mind daily. It is my biggest fear these days. So...I decided not to tempt fate and went in a different direction for this assignment.

The beach. I can hop on my sweet cruiser and I'm on the beach in less than two minutes. Such a gift. So many days as we're relaxing on the beach BSD and I look at one another in amazement and say, "We are so LUCKY to live here!"

It's almost beach weather. Pretty soon we'll be able to do this minus the long sleeves and long pants. I can't wait!

Oh you are so LUCKY!! Two minutes away, seriously?! Only in my dreams! LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture...it's amazing. I like how you put the border around it...you must not edit in Picasa...I've never seen this option!

You are very lucky to live there! I saw that it's Virginia Beach, and I must tell you that I LOVE it there! The water is so warm...unlike here in California. Just looking at the picture relaxes me :)

Welcome back! I've missed you and your fun posts, and this one is no exception. However, I'm insanely jealous that you live so close to the beach! The salt air and corrosion drove me crazy when I lived near the ocean, but oh how I miss it and remember the days when we practically lived at the beach. So, your picture is a little slice of heaven for me...and I'm still diggin' your beach cruiser too. I looked them up and have one on my "Honey I want this" list. :o)
